Not much to say about this stop other than I think we about broke even ...
Seriously, we felt like we needed a weekend where we could relax and unwind some and plan out our travel for the next week or so. Believe it or not, we did get some R&R in the "Sin City". We stayed at Circus-Circus on the north end of the strip, about 1 mile from Treasure Island/Mirage/Venetian - an easy walk for us after all the hiking we've been doing over the last month. Circus-Circus had a pool and we spent some time there (Dolores more than me) - it was typical hot & sunny Las Vegas with temps in the mid-90s during the day.
Other than meeting up with Dolores' nephew, Shane, on Friday we just did the normal tourist things - walked the strip, took in some of the sights, gambled a little, etc. Just a few pics to share. Can't really tell you too much -- what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
